For this book, the plot is Queen and keeps you guessing! Erin’s style is refreshing and uniquely hers … so many sapphic romance books written by other authors are centered around the romance and sex as the primary plot, but the focus of this book is around a multi-faceted plot (a delicate dance between 3 different plots), wrapped in the context of a beautiful wlw romance.

Notably, one of the main FMCs undergoes a personal belief transformation too - starting as a high powered politician that is anti-same sex marriage, pro don’t ask don’t tell and anti-abortion … I wasn’t sure that I could grow to accept her. But life happens. Love happens. Experience changes perspectives. I love that Erin evolves her characters. We all have an opportunity to evolve if we just open our eyes.
